First Bahrain, an innovative regional real estate developer, has welcomed Al Khaleej Development Co. (Tameer) as the first tenant in its inaugural warehousing and logistics project, Majaal. Majaal Phase 1 Construction Complete
Manama, 11th January 2010: First Bahrain, an innovative regional real estate developer, announced today the opening of the first phase of its inaugural USD 45 million logistics development, Majaal, with all construction on the project complete. The facility, located within the Bahrain Investment Wharf (BIW), is now ready for tenants to move in and occupy its state-of-the-art storage spaces. The announcement comes in the wake of the launch of the Salman Industrial City, which is expected to bring nearly USD 8 billion worth of investments to the Kingdom in Bahrain in the next few years. Majaal Warehousing Company Takes Best industrial Property At 2009 Gulf Real Estate Awards
Manama, 18th November 2009: First Bahrain's Majaal Warehouse Co., an SME-focused warehousing and logistics project at the Bahrain Investment Wharf, last night won the Best Industrial Development at the 2009 GRE Awards for Excellence in Real Estate. The award was given for Majaal‘s significant contribution to the development of the Kingdoms real estate and warehousing sector, as well as for the key role it plays in stimulating the economic growth of Bahrain, despite the global economic turmoil. The prestigious award was presented at a ceremony held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel yesterday as part of the 2nd Annual Gulf Real Estate Fundamentals Conference (GREF) 2009. Manama, 12th October 2009: First Bahrain, an innovative regional real estate developer, today announced the launch of its new subsidiary, Majaal Warehouse Co., the region’s first small to medium enterprises (SME) focused warehousing and logistics company. Majaal will be the operating company to manage First Bahrain’s inaugural project located at the Bahrain Investment Wharf.
