Daniel Taylor
Chief Financial Officer

Daniel Taylor is the CFO at First Bahrain. A member of the core executive team, he contributes to the strategic direction of the firm. He is directly responsible for the financial management of the company, including all administrative and legal affairs. He also leads First Bahrain’s PR and marketing efforts.

With a career spanning 27 years, Daniel is an entrepreneur who came to First Bahrain in March 2007 after leading and exiting from two SME’s in Bahrain. He brings a wealth of operational and management experience acquired while serving as General Manager of New York Coffee, a gourmet coffee roaster and cafe, and General Manager of Mariner Technologies, where he was the chief architect of leading GCC business news portal, TradeArabia.com (www.tradearabia.com).

Daniel earned a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with Distinction from the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University, Chicago, USA (kellstadt.depaul.edu). He studied for his BA in History at the University of Virginia, USA (www.virginia.edu). Daniel is a chartered management accountant with the designations FCMA, CGMA (www.cimaglobal.com)

Jamila Ghazal is a highly experienced real estate development professional and architect with over 14 years of experience in leading complex, high-impact projects. She currently serves as the Acting Head of Development at First Bahrain Real Estate Development Co., where she oversees the full lifecycle of real estate initiatives — from strategic planning and feasibility analysis to execution, and operations.

Previously, Jamila held the role of Senior Development Manager, where she managed contracts and tenders, implemented value engineering strategies, and ensured projects met both technical and business objectives. Her earlier roles within First Bahrain include Project Manager, and Associate Project Manager, reflecting a steady career progression and deep involvement in the company’s growth and development initiatives.

Before joining First Bahrain, she was a Project Architect at Mohamed Al Gharib Architects and Engineers. In this role, Jamila was instrumental in managing a diverse portfolio of projects, ranging from residential complexes to commercial buildings. She collaborated closely with clients to translate their visions into innovative designs while ensuring compliance with local regulations and sustainability standards.
and began her career as a CAD Specialist at Tilke, contributing to a large-scale healthcare project.

Jamila is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Real Estate Development and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, both from the University of Bahrain
