أكد الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة البحرين الأولى للتطوير العقاري عمر التميمي استعداد الشركة للدخول في قطاع سكن المواطنين بالتعاون مع الحكومة، لافتًا إلى وجود فرصة واسعة في سوق العقارات المحلي لكن ذلك مرهون بتوافر الأراضي بأسعار مناسبة.
وأفاد التميمي في حديث صحفي لـ«الأيام» بأن الشركة التي تعمل منذ العام 2007 في البحرين تتطلع إلى التوسع في الاستثمار الصناعي، متوقعًا وجود فرص في هذا القطاع لاسيما في المشاريع اللوجستية لتسهيل تنفيذ الطلبات على عبر الإنترنت، كاشفًا بأن أداء عقارات الشركة الصناعية خلال أزمة كورونا أفضل من العقارات التجارية، التي تعرضت لضغوط كبيرة.

First Bahrain reports USD 1.3 million gain for 2019

First Bahrain Real Estate Development Company today held its Annual General Meeting of the Shareholders for the year ended 31 December 2019 in which it celebrated its return to profitability with a gain of USD 1.3 million, the construction of Jarir Bookstore’s first outlet in Bahrain and the completion of its new El Balcón Mall in the Manama Sea Front area.
